- Pigs' feet are a favorite staple in the Filipino cuisine. The feet of a whole roasted pig (roasted in an open pit, like a large barbecue) are irresistible to many. There are many ways of cooking pigs' feet.

- I can't imagine fish that is not quite dead. Either it's dead or it's not. I can eat really fresh fish fillets "cooked" only in vinegar with tomatoes, onions, jalapeño, bell peppers, salt. Anyway, fish are not intentionally killed as soon as they are caught.

- I would like to be able to taste the lechon of Puerto Rico. Looking at the picture makes my mouth water. You see, in the Philippines where I'm from (and where I'm at now), we have really delicious lechon. It's only in the past 2 decades that lechon has become readily available everywhere you go.
